Artist Statement
My practice redefines reality as a vast theater where humans, nature, and invisible forces intersect.
Modern society is built on the anthropocentric illusion that nature is a controllable resource. However, nature possesses an inherent agency and a complex set of contradictions that exist far beyond the reach of human logic. Adopting an animistic perspective, I summon plant spirits, prophesying witches, and amorphous phenomena like steam and bubbles onto the stage as performers equal to humans.
Elements extracted from mythology, botany, and classical literature are deconstructed and choreographed through a unique process based on my physical senses, sublimating them into video, sculpture, and performance works. The seemingly nonsensical phrases and repetitive movements in my works act as fissures in the rigid narrative of everyday life, serving as devices to liberate the viewer from fixed preconceptions of meaning. Ultimately, I aim to unsettle existing value systems and propose a polyphonic state of the world.

私の制作は、人間、自然、そして目に見えない力が交差する広大な劇場として、現実を再定義するものです。
現代社会は、自然を制御可能な資源と捉える人間中心的な幻想の上に築かれています。しかし、自然は人間の論理を遥かに超えた固有の主体性と、複雑な矛盾を孕んでいます。私はアニミズム的な視点を用い、植物の精霊や予言する魔女、あるいは蒸気や泡といった不定形の現象を、人間と対等なパフォーマーとして舞台の上へと召喚します。
神話、植物学、古典文学から抽出された諸要素は、自身の身体感覚に基づいた独自のプロセスによって解体・構成され、映像、彫刻、パフォーマンス作品へと昇華されます。作品の中に現れる一見無意味なフレーズや反復的な動きは、日常という強固な物語に刻まれる「亀裂」であり、鑑賞者を意味への固定観念から解放する装置となります。私は、最終的に既存の価値体系を揺さぶり、ポリフォニック（多声的）な世界の在り方を提示することを目指しています。
