個展「バナナのみた夢」

10月29日より湯河原のCafe Sampoと倉庫Space OTONARIにて、ピメリコ個展「バナナのみた夢」を開催しました。
今回の展示では松尾芭蕉の俳句を起点に、時代をさかのぼり室町時代につくられた謡曲「芭蕉」（バナナの葉の精の物語）を現代的に解釈し再構成します。隣接する2つのスペースにて、新作の映像インスタレーションとコラージュを織り交ぜて展示いたします。音楽はFNCYやソロ活動でも活躍中のG.RINAが担当。

Pimeriko’s solo show The Dream of a Banana takes place at Cafe Sampo and Soko Space OTONARI in Yugawara from 29th Oct to 6 Dec, 2020. Please note that the exhibition period has extended until 6 Dec.
Based on the haiku by Matsuo Basho and a related old story about banana leaf, Pimeriko attempts to reconstruct it in the two spaces by using her new video installation and collage pieces. Music by G.RINA.
